May there be love and partying!

Last Friday marked the beginning of the wedding season! But it wasn't just a wedding! There was also a family shoot before it, and before that one there were eels for lunch! :D

Really good eels, eaten right next to the sea, with that sea breeze as a backdrop, with rice and sprouts, the kind I hadn't eaten for years and that I had missed so much.

The lunch I shared with the family I photographed (that was also at the wedding) was a great way of catching up, because we hadn't seen each other in person for a while.

We talked about life, what we have been doing and our plans for the near future. A good conversation. There is nothing better to start a photoshoot.

We walked a bit on the beach in Torreira and after that in Aveiro too, where I made some images of the three of them and I absorbed the good mood that characterizes them as a family.

After that I went to meet up with the groom to capture some moments before he set off for the place of the ceremony and before I went to meet up with the bride.

At the bride's home there was a lot of commotion, as is tradition, and the good mood was also abundant. Some more images and then we got on our way to the place where the ceremony was going to take place.

At Quinta do Vale do Junco, lots of friends united with the families and the joy was palpable as soon as we arrived even though the weather was threatening to get us wet during the ceremony.

Fortunately the clouds held their drops and allowed us to have an umbrella-free ceremony.

The moments of joy continued and went into the night, with a lively party, happy people, good food and enough drinks for all the toasts that were made there.

I left tired but happy not only because the job went well but also because I felt included in Carla's and Ricardo's special day.

I think it is one of the best parts of this job, to be a part of such good moments of sharing and happiness, whether it is with a small family or with all the people at a big wedding.

May there be many more like these!
